Super exhausted week but still enjoy....

Salam & bonjour...
15 April 2010, the third blog. It is an exhausted week, full of travel but is a joyful journey and a new experience....The challenging route to the settlement was traced via boating and truck cruising. The 1 1/2 hour of boat cruising was cool and it is much more better than cruising on sea...The view of Belum is splendid. Arived at the Pos Kemar jetty, the police truck picked us up. Terkejut jugak at first, sbb since bila pulak komando polis terlibat dgn SchoolNet ni...Huahuahua... itu la yg dinamakan CSR. Polis komando also do CSR maaa.... Coincedently the commando police was doing their job on discovering and digging the body of the crushed aeroplane in Pos Kemar which was believed remains there since 1950.... Maybe zaman komunis atau zaman jepon punya kapal terbang tentera yang masih tinggal... Since the digging place is nearby the school, the guru besar asked them for assistance to pick us up from the jetty, of course la rombongan kami kan rombongan che' kiah... siap ade ascort polis komando dgn motor bike die..perghhh...walaupun naik truck polis yg rase-rase mcm dalam tahanan pusat serenti, but when we arrived at the school, sambutan macam VVIP. Guru besar siap buat perhimpunan & jemput tok batin -tok batin dtg sekolah. But the most interesting things is when we were served with Gulai Ikan Kelah & Daging Kijang...kowkow punye menu...memang gua sental cukup2..huahuahua... sempat jgk amik gambar kt helikopter polis comando tu...huahuahua... Just a bit of upset, on way back by boat, the engine stucked, thus make us stranded in the middle of the lake...nearly 2 hours...panas siot...dah la baru lepas mkn daging kijang...memang panas la luar dan dalaman...kuikuikui... by the way it was a really good experience and something that we can talk to when we came back... On our way back by bus, karaoke ramai-ramai atas bas..mana taknye Bos Nazri taukeh funfair ade...memang melalak la aku & geng sampai KL....siap ade permintaan utk terus kan perjalanan ke Johor pulak...wakakah...tak larat beb... sampai KL dlm pukul 2.30 malam...tapi sempat lgi uplod pic dlm facebook lepas tu...Kome memang suke buat keje gile-gile...wakakakan..thats all end up my trip.... Adios....!!

Belum Rainforest Resort & Pos Kemar Visit

Assalamualaikum & Greetings,

It has been a month since I last update my blog.. Today 13th April 2010 I join a visit with KPKK, SKMM & MOE to one of Solar SchoolNet project in Pos Kemar Gerik.. The sort of 'Rombongan Che' Kiah' journey by bus from Menara TM to Pulau Banding and stop overnight at Belum Rainforest Resort before continue the journey via boat to Pos Kemar, which then shall continue by 4 wheels to SK Pos Kemar. The purpose of the visit is to verify Solar SchoolNet project in SK Pos Kemar.

Before this journey, little do I know about The Royal Belum Resort. Inspired by the green & environmental friendly resort, I decide to blog about this resort. Little do Malaysians appreciate and know about this Royal Rainforest Belum. Foreign researchers have discovered and believed that this untouchable forest is much more older than the Amazon Rainforest. According the En Suhaimi from BRR, Belum Rainforest had been gazetted by YM Sultan Perak and declared as one of national treasure. Researchers believed that there are thousands of unnamed, untouched and undiscovered species of flora & fauna lies beneath the Belum rainforest. Prevously, this area was the reined by the communist in early 70's. In early 80's the Temengur Damn was built by the PM Dr Mahathir (now Tun) was in purpose the generate the electricity for country. But little do people now, that the build of the damn was to flood the Belum area and creating man made lake. The appearance of the flooded lake was purposely to break the communist communication in the forest and thus contribute to the extinction of communist community in the area. Now hundreds of the internal and external researches come to Belum to do research and study the flora & fauna of the forest.

Tomorow I will continue my journey to the other side of the lake to one of the aborigines settlement in Pos Kemar. As usual, as a courtesy, we do bring some of our goodies & 4 units of PC to the schools in order to fulfil our mission to bridge digital gap to the suburban. Adios...!
